The individual is required to be experienced and have knowledge to understand aircraft LOPA drawings and the parts contained primarily (but not exclusively) in Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
The individual will require the skills necessary to identify cost saving opportunities, create competitive environments, creatively negotiate, generate contracts to assure seamless availability of all products to support the company objectives.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for negotiations for best possible aircraft interior acquisition solutions and develop win-win strategies that achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers Implement supplier agreements/contracts when beneficial by working with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to reach agreement on contract terms and conditions Management of acquired inventory from purchase to final sale, commissions, and replenishment Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply issues to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and utilize emerging opportunities Maintain and develop supplier relationships (possibly through trade shows, supplier meetings, conferences, etc.
) Responsible for meeting budget and spending requirements to support strategic business goals Continuously improve productivity and efficiency of processes in the operational organization Assist with sourcing and supplier selection strategy domestically and internationally Beyond Primary Functions Sales Opportunities Support Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Budgetary ControlNoneRequirements Experience with lessors, teardown operators, MROs, parts traders, and competitors Ability to manage projects and establish clear goals and accountabilities to ensure successful delivery (on time, within budget, meeting agreed upon success criteria) Knowledge of the legal terminology and language related to supplier and/or vendor agreements and contracts Must have excellent presentation and communication skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education and / or Experience Bachelor's degree preferred and at least five (5) years aerospace purchasing/strategic sourcing experience along with 3
years of relevant aerospace experience.
Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple and technical correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced systems skills and working knowledge of MS Office, with advanced Excel knowledge; Salesforce CRM software; ERP systems.
