Health Services Director for IL/AL Senior Living Community
Job
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the coordination and oversight of health and supportive services provided to residents at the Assisted Living Residence.
Assesses health of residents and initiates individualized service plan.
Ensures that residents' care needs are met by coordinating with other community professionals.
Oversees the training, supervision and monitoring of staff as they provide personal care.
Communicates regularly with residents' families regarding health care needs.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all rules and regulations pertaining to resident care.
Job Requirements:
Must have a current RN license for the state of WA.
Associate Degree in Nursing, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Minimum of 1 - 2 years working in geriatric nursing, including experience with medication administration, delivery systems and pharmacies.
One year in supervisory/management position, with experience with budgets, staff development, training and scheduling.
Must have a genuine passion for working with seniors.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
