Vehicle Description 1964 1/2 Mustang Convertible DGC1502 VIN 5R08D101502 289 V-8 Automatic Transmission, Power Steering, Brand new white power top and boot.
The car was restored before Bob bought it in1993.
It was restored in California and I was told the previous owner worked at Shelby America.
He rebuilt the engine while working at Shelby and you can tell he put some horse power in it.
It runs really well.
It sat for about 13 years before we bought it.
.
When we bought the car we took it directly to Old School Garage so Joe could freshen up the car and make it road worthy again.
Joe replaced all of the wheel cylinders, so there would be no issues with the brakes.
Joe also replaced the gas tank and cleaned the carburetor.
The car runs very strong and it looks as good as it runs.
Bob had this Mustang repainted a different shade of red for some reason.
He spent $18,000 in 2006 doing a lot of work making it beautiful.
You look down the sides and they are perfect.
He bought it for his wife and maybe that is the reason for the new paint.
Seat belts front and rear.
After market AM/FM radio.
Style steel wheels.
Still has the generator and the correct horns for 19641/2 Mustang.
Cobra valve covers and air cleaner.
Engine compartment is detailed and it looks show, just like the rest of the Mustang.
The red and white seats with the white door panels really set the interior off.
This is one of the nicest Mustangs we've had in recent memory, maybe ever.
They don't come around this nice very often.
2+.
