Vehicle Description 1955 Chevrolet 3100 5 Window PU.
DGT3062 VIN H55K003062 This 1955 Chevrolet First Series 3100 1/2-ton pickup has been with its current owner for the past 22 years.
Within the last five years, the 235ci inline-six engine has been rebuilt and a 12-volt electrical system, a set of new leaf springs, and a Vintage Air air conditioning system has been installed.
Approximately two and a half years ago, the body was repainted in its factory two-tone color scheme, which consists of a light blue cab and a dark blue body, and Rallye wheels were put on.
The original embossed stepside bed features newer wood slats and chrome runners.
Inside, the five-window cab is equipped with a patterned black and gray cloth bench seat, lap belts, crank windows, and a column-mounted manual shifter.
Available now, this final-year Advance Design Chevrolet truck comes with receipts and a clear title in the seller's name.
Approximately two and a half years ago, the exterior was repainted in its reportedly factory-issued combination of a dark blue body and a light blue cab.
It comes equipped with rectangular amber turn signals mounted above the chrome front bumper, a driver-side mirror and spotlight, body-color running boards, a spare wheel and tire combo mounted behind the cab on the driver's side, and dual exhaust.
The bed is original and comes with new chrome runners and replacement wood slats, but they recommend having the wood refinished.
The truck rolls on Rallye wheels that were installed two and a half years ago and Firestone Destination tires that have a lot of tread life left on them.
The interior is finished with black rubber flooring, blue floor mats, a patterned gray cloth bench seat with black stripes, silver and cab-color door panels, and a cab-color dashboard.
Equipment includes lap belts, a handle for the externally mounted driver-side spotlight, an electrical system that was rewired to run 12 volts, Vintage Air air conditioning, and manual crank windows.
All of the gauges work.
Those include a 90-mph speedometer and gauges for the coolant temperature, fuel level, amperage, and oil pressure.
Odometer shows 0 miles because the mileage was not restored after the engine was rebuilt, but the truck has been driven approximately 5,000 miles since then.
About five years ago, the 235ci 6 cylinder engine was rebuilt.
It comes equipped with a 12-volt starter and a one-barrel Rochester carburetor.
Power is routed through a column-shifted manual transmission.
The brakes, carburetor, and fuel pump were changed during the truck's last service.
Receipts documenting work performed by Classic Automotive LLC of Las Vegas, Nevada are included.
