Vehicle Description 1955 Chevrolet BelAir 2 Door Hardtop.
Stock #DGC9210 VIN# VC55S129210.
V-8, Automatic Trans, Front Disc Brakes.
This is a pretty original car, which is what I really like about it.
There aren't many old classics left that haven't been modified in some way.
The only thing that I know that is not original is the Turbo 350 transmission, originally it was a 3 speed car.
I love how this car drives and I think it's because of the original feel.
It is still a manual steering car, but it steers very easily.
The car still retains its original 265 V-8 and it runs smooth and quiet.
The body is very straight and rust free.
The floor pans don't have any rust, but there are 4 big patches that are end result of removing rust.
Was owned by the same person for the last 25 years.
The owner's son was the one that painted the car and he did a decent job, but it's not a show quality paint job.
There are small bubbles in the orange paint and that is probably because the car wasn't painted in a booth.
The car looks great even up close, but there are flaws in the paint.
This is one of my favorite cars that we have right now and I think the reason is because of how good it looks and how fun it is to drive.
